A New Beginning!

Life is but a series of endings and beginnings and a new year brings a definite involuntary sense of reflection. As we reflect on our achievements, progress, shortfalls, failures, etc… We are reminded that new beginnings are inseparably interwoven with HOPE. As St. Paul puts it “One thing I do; forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead” Philippians 3:13.

We can only reach forward when we have an ultimate goal, an ultimate purpose. Without having our eyes clearly fixated on eternity, we are just drifting aimlessly through life. It is no wonder that the last words of the biblical love story between God and humanity is aimed at describing the eternal “New heaven and new earth”.
